Learning Objectives

Develop* practical knowledge of Chinese herbal application by learning about some of the key formulas of the Shang Han Za Bin Lun, the main Chinese herbal medicine classic. Understand Zhang Zhong Jing’s methods and formulas architecture in the context of One Circle of the three Yin and three Yang, also known as the Six Conformations (Liu Jing). As a result, make the classic more accessible and improve your skills of formula design and modifications. *Prior knowledge of/qualification in Chinese herbal medicine is expected.

Founder of AHHA Marina Danilova

Marina is a Chinese Medicine practitioner passionate about pursuing the path of the classical approach focusing on herbalism. She is trained in the lineage of Dr Yaron Seidman, a disciple of Huai Xuan and the founder of Hunyuan. As a Chinese Medicine educator, Marina founded Academy of Holistic Healing Arts to give other practitioners an option to study in the way that was transformational to her knowledge and practice. She is honoured to be transmitting an elegant, clear and powerful approach which comes from Hunyuan. The foundational theory and the style of herbalism that she teaches stem from the Shang Han Lun as taught by Zheng Qinan, the originator of Huo Shen Pai (Fire Spirit school). Marina is appreciated for her inspirational and concise teaching style, the clarity and the clinical relevance of the material, and the support her students can rely on.
